Using Even Keel

• Even Keel is a directory. It helps you find a professional and contact them. It gives no clinical advice and is not part of your care.
• In an emergency call 999. If you are unsure how urgent something is, call NHS 111.
• Listings are written by the professionals. We check registrations and access details as each badge explains (what the badges mean), and every listing is confirmed at least every 90 days.
• Your enquiry goes to the professional you chose. What you agree with them is between you and them.
• Reviews come from real appointments (how reviews work). Please keep them true and kind.
• You must be 18 or over to send an enquiry. A parent or carer enquires for a child with I'm asking for someone else.
• Searching is free, always.

Listing with Even Keel

For professionals and practices with a listing.

Getting listed

• Building your listing is free, and it stays private until you publish it.
• We check your registration with your register before you go live. Payment comes after that check: pay, then live.
• A Direct Debit listing goes live when the first payment lands (about three working days).

Keeping it true

• Keep your listing accurate, and confirm it at least every 90 days. Unconfirmed at 90 days, it moves down the results; at 180 days it rests until you confirm.
• Answer each enquiry within five working days, or mark it as one you are passing on.
• Tell us at once if your registration lapses, is suspended, or gains conditions.
• The way in to a building is shared by everyone listed there. Every change is recorded with who made it.

What we promise you

• Position is the same for everybody. Your place follows the same rule on every plan, paid on time or late.
• Reply times are measured from real enquiries, the same way for everybody.
• We publish about you only what you agree to.

Prices

The price you see is the price you pay. Payment is monthly in advance through Stripe, by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link or Direct Debit. Your plan renews each month until you cancel. Cancel online any time in the portal: Your plan → Card, invoices and cancelling. Your listing stays paid to the end of the month you paid for.

The enquiry promise

Your first enquiry through Even Keel is promised in your first paid year: from the first day of your second year, every month is free until it arrives. It applies while your listing was live all year (from within 14 days of your first payment), confirmed at least every 90 days (with 14 days' grace), and closed for 28 days or fewer. On a practice bill it works seat by seat.

If a payment fails

Your listing stays live and keeps its place. We tell you, and Stripe tries again. Update your card in Your plan.

If we need to pause a listing

We may pause a listing that is untrue, whose registration has lapsed, or that puts patients at risk. We tell you why, and you can reply before anything is final.

Closing your account

Your listing stops being published and your personal details are removed. Patients' enquiry records are theirs and stay, with your details removed. A one-way code of your registration number stays, so reply records carry on if you rejoin.

Responsibility

You are responsible for your own practice, registration and insurance. We work to keep Even Keel running and accurate. Our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months, and we are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profit. Nothing here limits responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes and law

We give 30 days' notice by email of any important change to these terms. They are governed by the law of England and Wales.
