Built for everybody
Updated 10 October 2026.
Even Keel exists to show people the way in. The website has to be easy to get into too. We work to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2, level AA.
What you can do
- Easy to read: larger text, more space, stronger contrast and bigger buttons (Display, top right).
- Light or dark, remembered on every page.
- Listen to this page on every profile, read by your own device.
- Reduce Motion is respected: maps and moving pictures hold still.
- Every button is at least 44 pixels across; body text is 16 pixels or larger; colours are chosen for contrast.
- Built to work from the keyboard: Tab moves through every control, and Escape closes a panel.
- Pictures carry descriptions for screen readers.
- Your phone's own dictation works in both search boxes.
How we check
Automated checks run on every build. From October to December 2026 every page is tested by hand: keyboard only, VoiceOver on iPhone and Mac, Easy to read, and dark mode.
Tell us
If anything gets in your way, write to [email protected] with the page and what happened. We reply within five working days, and we can send any information in another format.
